Overlake Athletics

Commitment, excellence, and inclusion! The Athletics Department strives to create a competitive environment by providing interscholastic sports at both the middle school and upper school levels.  With a no cut policy we give every student at Overlake a broad range of offerings such as soccer, cross country, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, tennis, golf, ultimate, and baseball.  Our athletics program creates a platform for student-athletes to personally grow, enhance their leadership and athletic skills, and gain an appreciation for community involvement.  Our student-athletes are high achieving individuals on the field and in the classroom.  Please join in on the fun by supporting and participating in Owl Athletics!

Hill and Poplawski 1A WIAA State Athletes of the Week

Dean Poplawski: A senior, had 24 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists in a 59-44 win over Bush.

Coaches vs. Cancer

We had a great crowd Thursday, January 12th at our Coaches vs. Cancer Basketball games.  The OAC and the Girls’ Basketball program created a festive atmosphere by “decking the place out in pink” before fans arrived.  Fans enjoyed a night of shooting contests, raffles, and much more as they watched their Owls play some hard fought games against Seattle Academy.  Both the Overlake and Seattle Academy communities were generous with their donations for the cause by contributing over $450.00 during the evening.  All proceeds collected were given to Coaches vs. Cancer.
