Athletics

Coach Heather Okubo:  While teaching at Antelope Crossing Middle School in Antelope, CA, Heather gained 3 years of coaching experience in both Cross-Country and Track & Field.  She focuses on encouraging athletes to recognize and use their personal strengths to their advantage, and to have a running strategy in place to win races.  Her favorite part about coaching is seeing the athletes' efforts, commitment, and passion for their sport lead to improvements in skill.  As a teacher in our 6th grade program, Heather also values the time spent getting to know students outside of the classroom.
